Maulana Sultan Fadillah

I am an active student of Geological Technology Study Programme at Politeknik Energi dan Pertambangan Bandung, with a keen interest in applied geology and mining. During my studies, I have learnt various aspects of geology including:

My field practicum experience includes Geological Mapping of Industrial Excavation Materials at the PPSDM Minerba Field Campus, Exploration Drilling Practices at the Indonesia Drilling Training Center owned by PT. Pertamina Drilling, Exploration Geology and Exploration Geochemistry Field Practicum on sampling methods related to exploration, Exploration Geophysics Field Practicum on the use of tools for exploration methods, Geotectics Practicum on sampling, in-depth understanding of engineering geology, slope calculation and soil and rock mechanics, Hydrogeology Practicum related to Acid Mine Drainage and Mine drainage, Mine Measuring Science on the use of measuring tools, K3 Mining related to safety and legal rules in mining work, and sustainability concepts such as net zero emission. Sometimes I also assist lecturers’ research to broaden my knowledge in the field of geology such as geoelectric, geomagnetic, and groundwater quality measurements.

I am also active in the Geological Technology Student Association as the Head of the Entrepreneurship Division and join the Indonesian Geology Student Association, not only that I am very enthusiastic in participating in internal or external webinars outside the campus. I am ready to contribute as an intern with high learning spirit, good teamwork skills, and technical understanding in the field of geology.
